Freelance Photographer and Multimedia Producer in San Francisco
Chris Jordan-Bloch is a filmmaker, photographer, and activist in Oakland, CA. He is a multimedia producer for Earthjustice and he believes that stories and activism can work in tandem to promote meaningful change.

He is a graduate of the University of Washington and previously worked as a newspaper photographer and multimedia journalist.

In 2012 two of his films were chosen as official selections of the Wild and Scenic Film Festival. His photography and filmmaking have also been recognized by the Best of Photojournalism, the National Press Photographers Association, the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar, the Eddie Adams Workshop, the Associated Press, and the San Francisco Bay Area Press Photographers Association which named him their 2009 Photographer of the Year.

Before his career in journalism, Chris was a musician. When he’s not working he loves playing and listening to music, surfing, drinking sazeracs and kissing his wife.
